Publons Guide
Publons is a service for researchers that enables them to showcase their completed peer reviews internationally and provides a means of tracking and formally recognizing their review activities. Once reviews are registered in the Publons database, the completed reviews are displayed in the database by journal.
Steps for Registering with Publons
1) Enter Publons: (Link);
2) After registering and providing the required information, a membership confirmation will be sent to you via email;
3) After completing your membership, you need to add each completed review to Publons after reviewing each article. There are two methods for adding a review to Publons.
First Method: Automatic Addition: For some journals, during the review process, you may be asked whether you would like your review to be automatically added to Publons. In this case, by selecting (Yes) in the journal’s submission/review system, the completed review will be automatically transferred to and added to the Publons system.
Second Method: Some journals, such as the Journal of Value and Behavioral Accounting, have not implemented an automatic process for registering reviews in Publons, and this process is carried out manually. Therefore, reviewers are kindly requested to forward the email you received from the journal thanking you for completing the review to the following address: reviews

4) After receiving a response from Publons, the completed review will be added to the total number of reviews recorded for you in this system. Accordingly, the number of Verified Reviews and the name of the journal will be displayed in the system.
Reviewers of the Journal of Value and Behavioral Accounting are kindly requested to register with this database.
