Aims and Scope of the Journal:
The present journal aims to promote knowledge in accounting and auditing through the publication of articles with a “scientific-research structure” and content related to accounting and auditing topics, social responsibility, accountability (financial and operational), sustainable development accounting, behavioral issues in accounting and auditing (including issues related to professional judgment, psychological and cultural issues, etc.), accounting and reporting from an environmental perspective, ethical issues in accounting and auditing (including professional ethics, ethics education, forensic accounting, fraud and financial corruption, etc.), Islamic accounting and auditing (including the presentation of theories related to Islamic accounting and auditing, the development of accounting models and auditing methods for the optimal use of resources and prevention of their waste and extravagance, the development of a theoretical framework and structure for Islamic reporting and auditing, the development of an accounting framework for Islamic banking, and accounting issues related to Islamic financial instruments, as well as other related topics) (For more information on behavioral accounting research, please click here.)
Note: Due to the specialized focus of this journal on accounting topics, we regret that we are unable to accept articles in the field of “behavioral finance.”
Articles unrelated to the scope of the journal and translated articles will not be sent for peer review.
Very Important Notice: As of the beginning of October 2020, a similarity-check certificate from the Hamyandjoo System (Hamyandjoo System (irandoc.ac.ir)) is mandatory for all submitted manuscripts. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines:
1- Dear researcher and author, please carefully read the following points before submitting your manuscript and submit your manuscript accordingly.
In order to standardize the format of submitted manuscripts and facilitate the peer-review and editing processes, all manuscripts must be prepared according to a uniform design and format. Obviously, manuscripts submitted outside the prescribed writing guidelines will be rejected.
Please note that, for ease of preparation in the specified format, the blank form and structural template for manuscripts of this journal is available for download here, which will provide you with complete and comprehensive guidance on manuscript preparation. The visual framework and writing of this guide are consistent with the journal's guidelines, and authors may prepare their manuscripts directly in this file to expedite the writing process.
2- The manuscript must not have been previously published in a journal or in the proceedings of other seminars or scientific conferences, nor should it have been submitted simultaneously to another journal, whether domestic or international. (It is mandatory for respected authors to submit all three forms (1- Author Commitment Form, 2- Conflict of Interest and 3- Publication Commitment Form)- The completed forms must be submitted as a single file.
3- In the manuscript file upload section, please ensure that the main file (with author names), in addition to the complete text of the manuscript, must contain the full information of all authors, including their affiliation, academic rank, and email address (as well as identification of the corresponding author), both in the Persian section and in the English abstract section.
On the other hand, in the file without author names, which must contain the entire content of the manuscript, it is essential that the authors' names be removed from all pages. In other words, the anonymized file that will be sent to the reviewers must contain the complete text of the manuscript and its appendices, but the authors' names must be removed from both the Persian and English abstracts. Obviously, uploading the files incorrectly and failing to comply with this instruction will result in the manuscript not being placed in the evaluation process.
4- For manuscripts that, according to the opinion of the journal's reviewers, are determined to require revisions, the authors are required to re-upload through the journal website both the revised manuscript file, in which the revised portions are highlighted in yellow, and a separate Response to Reviewers file. Obviously, failure to comply with these two requirements will result in the manuscript being returned and the loss of the authors' valuable time.
5- The responsibility for the opinions and views expressed in the manuscripts rests with the authors, and publication of an article does not imply endorsement of its contents.
6- The journal reserves the right to edit manuscripts and remove certain sections without changing the overall content.

8- Peer-Review Fee: In accordance with the regulation entitled “Determination of Article Processing Charges in Open Access Journals,” dated 1404/01/23, the approval of the esteemed Board of Directors of Kharazmi University, and the resolution of the Research Policy and Planning Office of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (Letter No. 15442, dated 6 Ordibehesht 1405), this journal charges 30,000,000 Iranian Rials as the article processing fee (9,000,000 Iranian Rials upon submission of the manuscript and 21,000,000 Iranian Rials upon acceptance of the manuscript). The fee shall be paid electronically to the Kharazmi University account through this system.
